Before you contact me please think about the following:

 

* When do you want your quilt completed by?

 

* Do you want to supply the batting? I am happy for you to do so but please make sure it is

    6-8 inches longer and wider than your quilt top. Or I can access a limited range of battings

    on your behalf.

 

* Do you want to supply the backing? I am happy for you to do so but please make sure it is

    6-8 inches longer and wider than your quilt top. Or I have access to a range of extra wide

    fabrics to choose from.

 

* Who is the quilt for?      Male or female?      Age group  -  child, youth, adult?

 

* What are their likes and dislikes?               swirls / geometric /  straight lines / koru / birds /

    floral / leaves / bugs / butterflies / feathers / animals / other

 

* Do you want a pantograph pattern or custom quilting?

   A pantograph is sometimes a cheaper option as it is quicker to complete.

   As it is an all over design it does NOT take into account your piecing.   

   It creates a flat but textured finish.

 

  Custom quilting often enhances your piece work more than a pantograph

   and 'pops' selected focus areas from the background. Custom quilting can 

   be light or dense - the denser the quilting the longer it takes me.
